What does an FIBC do?
FIBC stands for Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container: flexible bulk packaging typically made of woven polypropylene (PP), with lifting components. A suitable design supports handling materials as a larger packaging unit, from filling to discharge.
- Groups bulk material into a single packaging unit.
- Supports mechanical handling using equipment and methods appropriate to its design.
- Top, bottom and fabric choices help match filling and discharge processes.
Applications
Plastic resin and pellets, dry minerals, sands, clays and agricultural bulk materials are examples of FIBC applications. Each material needs its own design assessment. Food, feed, fertilisers, chemicals and combustible materials require checks for material suitability, contamination, liners and application-specific requirements.

Before ordering
Does 90 × 90 × 120 cm mean a one-tonne rating?
No. Safe Working Load is the load a bag is designed to carry and is stated on its label. Dimensions do not prove lifting capacity or the fitness of a used bag.
What should be checked on a used bag?
Check previous contents, cleanliness, dampness, brittle fabric, tears, seams and lifting loops. Reject damaged or contaminated bags. A visual inspection does not replace necessary suitability assessments and testing.
Can every bag be reused?
No. FIBCA recommends reuse only for bags designed for multiple trips, within a closed-loop system involving cleaning, reconditioning, tracking and qualification for the same product and application. Single-trip bags are not represented as suitable for reuse without a technical basis.
Do third-party printed brands imply a partnership?
No. Printing in the photographs identifies previous use of the sample used bag. DEXPLAST does not imply affiliation, approval or warranty from the brand owner. Confirm actual batch condition.
